Animations
My first job at IP1 was to help create some interactivity within the website to make it a fun place to explore.
I pitched an idea to add a small animation with a hand taking a copy of the magazine where it says 'Grab your copy of IP1 now!' on the Magazine page. I then developed this into a Flash animation where several "funny arms" would grab the latest issue front cover, a different one each time you refreshed the page.
For this project I learnt a lot of skills in ActionScript, from making symbols, movie clips within movie clips to reduce the file size and adding an onRelease function to start the animation when the magazine is clicked.
