The NickToons competition was available for selected UK undergraduates to take part, pitch & present ideas to a board of NickToons directors and produce an ident that was good enough to be played on their channel.
I went through several idea changes and adjustments, working to the feedback I was given, all based around ways of one character trying to impress and copy the other, but finishing with a sticky but funny ending.
My final idea was about two monsters jumping and showing off to each other on a trampoline, as garden trampolines were a big craze in 2008, when I made the ident. Above are screenshots from my finished film.
